Add Referrer to Logfiles using "Microsoft IIS Log Format"

    Hello to everybody,

Is there any way (maybe with an ISAPI filter or any other way) to record Referrer in LogFiles using "Microsoft IIS Log Format" and not "W3C Extended Log File Format"?

     Thanks in advance

Yes, following are the steps for that :-

In your IIS right click on web site in question >> Properties >> Web Site Tab >> under "Enable Logging" section select "Microsoft IIS Log File Format" from drop down box and hit Ok.

    Hi,

I forgot to mention steps to retrieve Referer, following  are the steps for that -

In your IIS right click on web site in question >> Properties >> Web Site Tab >> under "Enable Logging" section select "Microsoft IIS Log File Format" from drop down box >> now click on button "Properties" present near to drop down box >> Advanced tab >> scroll down to bottom >> enable the check box for "Referer" and hit Ok

    Thats it :)

Thank you for your reply, but there is no "Advanced tab" if I select "Microsoft IIS Log File Format". Advanced tab is available only when I select "W3C Extended Log File Format". That's exactly my problem, I do not want to use "W3C Extended Log File Format"
