  how to allow remote users to access website in my iis Reply Contact  Hi I've developed a site and installed in iis 5.1, if i access through localhost its working fine, but inaccessable remotely. it was asking user name, password, but when i configured FTP Sites to allow annoynomus access. now im getting a error which sounds like this  The remote procedure call failed and did not execute. Kindly helpme out

  Re: how to allow remote users to access website in my iis Reply Contact Are you trying to allow access to the website via a browser or FTP?   If it's HTTP, you need to enable anonymous access http://www.iisanswers.com/IIS51.htm If it's FTP, the error you posted doesn't appear to be related to FTP sessions.  I'd suggest looking in the FTP logs %windir%\system32\logfiles is where logs are located. Thank you

Don't change the username or password.  Simply check the Anbonymous access box and uncheck all the others.
