How to publish with FTP7.5 and hide other folders

I set up FTP publishing on my default web site using the newer FTP 7.5 on IIS7 on Win2008 Server.  I secured it with Require SSL.  I can lock down who can read and write to which subfolders(virtual webs).... however, I would like to hide the folders that one does not have access to like I saw in one of the videos.  How do I do that?

    Thanks in advance,

You may refer to the following article to configure FTP user isolation.

I have seen that article.  While it is good for an ftp site with folders using users' names... but it is not good for an IIS site where folders are web application names.  Unless I created accounts that used the same names as the web application... but like how it is that one user can access all the web apps. that he owns.

Aha, I see. Can you tell me which video you were referring to? Maybe we can ask the author.

    The video name is:
    winvideo-1-Developing_and_Deploying_In_a_Shared_Hosting_1.wmv

..and I cannot find where on this site I got it from.  I need to try downloading it again because the end is cut off.

The IIS configuration was not shown in this video, but I guess this server has several web sites hosted, and each web site also has a correspondent FTP site created. (Simply use "Add FTP Publishing" for this web site.) The FTP Publishing wizard will allow you to secure this site so that only specific users can access it.

That's my finding after viewing this video.

Right, IIS config was not shown... I wish it were.  However, it was stated in the video that there were other folders at the first view, but were hidden due to insufficient credentials.... and that is what I want to learn how to do.  If it were just locked down by setting up several sites than I do not think he would have said that there were other folders at that level that were hidden. Setting up a site, would by default only show what is below it without hiding anything.

Well, if you like, leave a comment on Joe's blog,

I think he can shine some light on the IIS configuration.

One method for hiding folders for applications would be to use virtual directories, then use the Directory Listing Options in the FTP Directory Browsing feature to prevent viewing virtual directories.

Thanks for the reply.. but hoping to get it working just as he said in the video. I sent a comment to his blog.. but looks like it is being ignored. It is not even opened for others to see.
