  Error with Installing IIS on Windows VISTA Reply Contact Hi Friends, I have a new laptop in which, the Operating System is Windows Home PREMIUM. I went to Control Panel ----> Add/Remove Programs ----> Turn Window features ON or OFF -----> Then I checked the IIS ... message box with " Windows features is being configured--- " comes for some minutes. After that, I get an ERROR "An error has occurred.. Not all the features are successfully changed" But IIS is being not installed. Please help me out..... Regards SBM

  Re: Error with Installing IIS on Windows VISTA Reply Contact Hi, IIS 6 is only available for Windows XP x64 and Windows Server 2003. If you are using Windows Vista, then you can only install IIS 7, and the installation log file is %windir%\iis7.log. If you cannot find this log, then installation of IIS 7 was not even started. %windir% is a macro. If you installed Windows on C drive, then it can be translated to C:\windows then you can find the log file as C:\windows\iis7.log.
