Hi,
I am looking into load balancing, and see hosting companies charge per connection (blocks of say 50, 100, 500 or 1000).
What is a definition of a connection? how long does it last?
How can I figure out how many connections I require?
Connections can be tricky and measured using perfmon counters
Generally concurrent connections in the Web Service \ Concurrent Connections is a monitor to help. Depends on if you server has HTTP KeepAlives, KeepAlives help with perform, but will increase the amount of connections.

Hope this helps.
