Hi - I am affected as well. My scenario of failure point is the latter:
If this stage succeeds, the managed stage will start by running SQLSetup100.exe. If a failure happens here, then the log files will be at: "..\program files\microsoft sql server\100\setup bootstrap\log"
In this log, a reference is made to another file. So, I pulled up the ConfigurationCheck_Report.htm file, which shows
'Green' passed for every one of the global rules that exist (see very bottom table).
So I am stumped. Help please.
