Shared Configuration - forgot encryption key to add additional server

I set up two machines many months back with shared configuration.  One of the servers was acting up, so I did a fresh build.  Unfortunately I waited too long to reconfigure the 2nd box and forgot the encryption key for the shared configuration. (idiot me did not document the password anywhere that I can remember)

Server 1 is still running online with about 50 sites.  I don't want to reconfigure IIS if I don't have to.  Does anyone know if there is a good way that I can reset the encryption key, by using what I have available now?

     Thanks,

    Rob

I'd think changing your password is your only option.

    Thanks Steve,

I ended up doing that, which required me to "rebuild the Configuration"  It actually went much smoother than I expected using appcmd and then a tool to compare the two (old vs new) config files.  The text comparison took the longest time as I created the websites in a different order.

    Thanks,
    Rob
