    webdav not allowing me to drag and drop files

    I have two internal websites. One allows me to drag and drop a file into the iframe which has a source of a webdav folder. This one works fine. I can drop the files on it just fine.

    The newest one behaves differently. When I try to drop the file the web browser opens it instead (if it is a known file extension otherwise it just prompts to save the file on my local drive.)

    I have gone through and tried to make sure both webdav folders were set up the same way with the same permissions.

    Any ideas why I might not be able to drag and drop files into the new site?

    This happens with either IE7 or IE8.

    Hi,

    Do you open either two sites’ target directory as a web folder(likes: \\localhost\virtual directory name) ?
