Unable to connect to Remote Computer through IIS

    Hi ,

I am trying to connect to a remote machine through IIS. I am getting a message as unable to connect to remote machine.

I am Administrator on the remote machine. I am able to ping the machine and IIS is running on the machine.

    Can some1 help me?

     Hi,

Are both machines in the same network or in different network?

Because, when 2 machines are in different, routing plays role in that. So you'd check whether its allowed.

any firewall in between ? ping is only ICMP traffic, what about RPC which is needed for remote management?
