There's no server coming up when i try to connect on sql server. I have the IIS running. Do I need to configure the IIS? Do I need to upgrade the IIS? I had trouble digging through other forums so I posted one.

  Re: How to connect with SQL Server 2005 Reply Contact  Yes, oh I am so sorry. What I did was I installed the IIS v5. Then I installed the MS SQL Server 2005. Now I tried to run the Management Studio. Then the connect to server dialog box pops up. So the server type is on Database Engine but there's no server name coming up. I obviously do not not what to do with that. Am I getting anything wrong? Do I need to something with the IIS? Please help. (Thanks for the replies)
