  HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable Reply Contact    I am attempting to use the Shared Configuration on two different web servers. Both servers have Server 2008 installed with IIS 7.0 and all of the .NET framework that I need. When I browse to the page on the first server it works fine, everything comes up and works like it should. As soon as I try to load the page on the second server the application pool crashes. I have the shared configuration folder on a UNC share, Configuation looks the same on both serverrs.  I use DFS to keep the web pages the same on both servers.  All the files look ok.  I can turn off shared configuation and manually configure and the web site works fine. Back to the shared configuation I get this error in the  Application log of the server is: The Module DLL C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\redirect.dll failed to load. The data is the error.

The service is unavailable Reply Contact To use shared configuration, you have to install the same set of IIS features on both machines - in this case, your second machine does not have the http-redirection feature installed which is being used in the shared configuration - there may be other feature differences too.
