HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable

I am attempting to use the Shared Configuration on two different web servers. Both servers have Server 2008 installed with IIS 7.0 and all of the .NET framework that I need. When I browse to the page on the first server it works fine, everything comes up and works like it should. As soon as I try to load the page on the second server the application pool crashes. I have the shared configuration folder on a UNC share, Configuation looks the same on both serverrs.  I use DFS to keep the web pages the same on both servers.  All the files look ok.  I can turn off shared configuation and manually configure and the web site works fine. Back to the shared configuation I get this error in the  Application log of the server is: The Module DLL C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\redirect.dll failed to load. The data is the error.

To use shared configuration, you have to install the same set of IIS features on both machines - in this case, your second machine does not have the http-redirection feature installed which is being used in the shared configuration - there may be other feature differences too.
