Can't get custom modules in IIS Manager Vista Ultimate 64

I have built a HelloWorld sample module and an imageCopyright sample module in VS2008 on Vista Ultimate 64 and for the life of me cannot get the module pages to appear in IIS Manager.  I have tried numerous compilations, automatically and manually tried adding to the GAC and have entered both modules to the <moduleProviders> section in administration.config.

The dlls are definitely in the GAC but I cannot see the modules in IIS Manager nor can I add them manually through the Modules setting in IIS Manager!

I would suggest double checking your Administration.config file entries for your module.  Also, look at the event viewer to see if inetmgr is not able to correctly instantiate your extended UI modules.

Here are some blog posts with more information:

Thanks, I took another look at it this morning and the error was in my Administration.config file I hadn't given the full provider class name - schoolboy error on my part but with a clear head this morning it's so much clearer.

Thanks for the links to the additional two blog posts - I had read Carlos' in the past but will re-read again, I hadn't seen yours but it covers some key and useful points which I will post a link to on my blog soon for the benefit of the delegates who attended my Usergroup talk on IIS last night.

     Thanks! :-)
