    errorr 8004005

Whenever i press the livadata button in Dreamweaver i get the usual 80004005 error which says:

An error occurred while requesting the document from the testing server. And below that an ASP line is mentioned(line 9) and a directory.

I thought it was permission related and i gave IIS permmissions in the folder where the database resides. But the problem permissions.

I wanted to know if i must do any adjustment in the Windows firewall.I have win vista ultimate 32-bit.

For example if i have to adjust any port that is related with IIS.

    Thanks

I don't think it is a IIS permission issue. 80004005 is a Microsoft JET Database Engine(Access db base on JET) error.the account that your Web server is running under does not have the necessary permissions to read from or write to the database.

    Thanks

I understand what are you talking about but despite the fact that i have granted IIS permmissions in the folder where the database resides the problem persists.

Do you have any other ideas?

Do you believe the problem has  do if the DSN is system or user DSN. Does that play any role you think?
