Accessing a folder on another domain machine via FTP. Possible?

Hi all, I have the following situation here. Machine A runs IIS, including a FTP server. I would like to make an account here which gives the (correct authenticated!) user R/W access to a folder on machine B. Since machine A & B are both in the same domain, I thought it would be as easy as making a user (with limited rights) who can log in via FTP on machine A and who has R/W access to the folder on machine B. This does not seem to work... Is there another/easier way to approach this problem?
    Greetings,
    Evert

    Hi,

Yes, you should be able to create an FTP virtual directory which points to a UNC path as described here :

Using Virtual Directories with FTP Sites (IIS 6.0)

Hmm, looks like the FTP-server has been set up with user isolation... I imagine that complicates matters?
