    Problem in IIS Services display

    Hi,

    We are using IIS 6.0 in our office. Sometimes when we go to see the services in the IIS dialog box, it is not at all showing any services. But all the services are running. If we restart the server and then view the dialog box it is showing all the services properly. Is it due to some patches if any? We are very much worried because all our applications are stored in that server. Can anybody suggest the remedy for this behaviour?

     I think one of the process is getting hanged while you run inetmgr, this could be related to either MMC or IIS itself. Try creating a new snapin for IIS and see if that resolves the issue.

     Also is you server patched with latest updates..?
