One of the powerful features of both the Web PI as well as Web AI is that they are both driven from an xml file. By this I mean that all the products you see in the tool are pulled from an xml file that we host on the www.microsoft.com/web site.
Because of this, when we heard feedback last week that it was difficult to find the new IIS Extensions, we were able to update the xml file to pull out the IIS Extensions into their own category. This was done simply by releasing a new xml file. If you check out your Web PI today, you'll notice that the Web Server tab now has this new arrangement without you needing to install a new version of PI.
As new products are released or we hear further feedback from folks, you can expect this xml file to be updated. I'll post both major (like new products added) and minor (like the IIS extensions move) on this forum.
