What needs to be open for IIS 6.0 remote admin?

I'm trying to connect remotely to administer IIS via the snap-in, and i get "operation timed out". The only firewall on the server is the windows firewall, and if I disable it completly, then I can connect successfully. Obviously, I'd like to open a few LESS ports than all of them :)

    Any insight? Thanks!

As a side note, the error I get when I connect without appropriate permissions is -also- operation timed out... thats brutal :)

port 3389 is the only port needed for remote desktop.

3389 is the default RDP port but if you are not sure about your server RDP port or if its different on your server then you can get it at following location in registry and allow it in your firewall :-

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TerminalServer\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber

Sorry, I don't want to remote desktop, I can already do that (its a headless box). I probably wasn't clear, thats my bad.

What I want is the port to manage IIS from the IIS Manager tool (the MMC snap-in), so I dont need to RDP into the box just to manage virtual directories and web site settings :)

There, found it. To answer my own question, thanks to this:

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc772766.aspx

Its port 135. That page also says to unblock a program, but it worked without it. Maybe needed for certain features though.
