    500 - Internal server error.

     Hi there,

I will start by letting you guys know that I tried to search for this error before posting, but can't find a solution yet.

I have latest PHP installed on IIS 7 using FastCGI, everything seem to be working fine, even the phpinfo file, except that script don't work... whenever I place a script in a php page of mine I get the error:

    500 - Internal server error.

What can I do to solve this? :/

     Thanks...

Are you runningthe script locally on the machine, if so can you post the complete error.

i have a server setup at home, it's not locally on my "main" PC, no. it's a stand-alone windows server 2008, which i have full access to if needed.

could you tell me what other details do i need to give and how to obtain them?

The easist way is have the person who has full access browse the link in question and give you the error.

Sounds like a fatal PHP error to me.

Follow this excellent tutorial, and in particular, configure error message and logging as described in "PHP Security Recommendations". Check out the rest of the things as well.
