  dropped connections on php pages to db Reply Contact Some, but not all, pages in our site that connect to a mysql db come up as "connection dropped". I am thinking it seems like it's only been since we upgraded from php 4.4.8 to php 4.4.9 installed ionCube (with also Zend Optimizer installed). These work: http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums (vb software) http://www.wetcanvas.com (custom code using vb integration) http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/ (3rd party photopost software with same vb integration routine) This doesn't: http://www.wetcanvas.com/support/ (3rd party Kayako support software with same vb integration routine) Other parts of the site that are custom using vb integration don't work either... :( thanks in advance for any ideas! win 2003/IIS6 php 4.4.9/mysql 4.1.22 fastcgi ioncube zend optimizer

I installed IonCube to get another IonCube encoded app working, and it seemed to have broken zend. So if you have both installed - do IonCube first, then Zend... HTH!
