    German umlaut dissapear when using url rewrite

    hello, i have the following rule when i call this rule with /foo/österreich then it will redirect to /test.asp?n=österreich but the problem is when i access the querystring variable n with request.querystring("n") then i get �sterreich can anyone help? ps. the forum seems to have a problem as no line breaks, etc are recognized
