How to configure IIS Componets in 64-bit mode

    Components

I want to install IIS 7 components in Windows 2008 as 64-bit

Currently if we install from role, in registry it will find under 32-bit entry not in syswow64.

Also all the configuration xml’s are in the system32.

How to configure IIS in 64-bit?

I know how to set applications to be run on 32-bit or 64-bit.

I want particularly about IIS server only.

    Please provide info

Is the separate 64-bit installer is available for IIS? If any, provide link

Re: How to configure IIS Componets in 64-bit mode

On 64-bit machines, %windir%\system32 has 64-bit binaries and %windir%\syswow64 has 32-bit binaries. There is only one IIS configuration (under system32) for both 32-bit and 64-bit. There are no separate 32-bit, 64-bit installs. When you install an IIS7 component on 64-bit machine, it will install both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries.

    Thanks,
    Kanwal
