  thegleds Joined on 09-28-2008, 6:23 PM Posts 2	ASP displaying VB as text Reply Contact Hi I am trying to run Classic ASP VBscript pages from IIS7 and the HTML renders fine but the VBscript tags I up on the page dont seem to work. When I run the page the VB comes back as text on the screen. There are no errors that appear either. Can anyonne help me please?

I have ticked the ASP option when i set up IIS, but nothing has happend? Do you have any good tutoruials that i could use that show me fully how to install IIS 7 for classic ASP developers?

  Re: ASP displaying VB as text Reply Contact The only thing you should have to do is install ASP, the module.  There is one thing that doesn't send the VBScript errors to the browser, there is an option to turn that off.  Bill Staples posted a thing for Classic ASP developers.  http://blogs.iis.net/bills/archive/2007/05/21/tips-for-classic-asp-developers-on-iis7.aspx Not sure why your VB code is coming out as text.  Did you try something simple like <% = Now() %> And see if the date appeared?
