Windows Authentication - Default Domain For Remote User

Hi, I have our company intranet setup to use Windows Authentication and it works great locally however when remote users try to load the page they have a login box. Now the login box does work fine except most of my users are not smart enough to remember to use domain\user for the logon name.. is there a way to set a default domain so all they have to do is enter their windows account name.

    Thanks!

I have the same problem. I tried setting both basic and digest(what i would like) and set the domain to our domain but the login box always looks to login to the server first. This setup worked in ii6 wondering what the trick to get it to work in ii7 is.

As it seems it does work when i dont have windows authentication checked but then it trys to make an anonymous connection to my sql server. With windows authentication on, I can make my connection but then i have to do domain\user to login remotly

Integrated windows authentication doesn't support Default Logon Domain due to principle of Kerberos and NTLM protocol. Please check my reply to previous post below.
