Hosting architecture - patterns and practices

I run a mini-ISP which is effectively single tenant though I support a number of clients, they don't have any kind of access that's going to cause me problems.  However, I'm thinking of expanding into specialist IIS 7 shared hosting service provision and was wondering if there were best practice documents available and, if so, where.

The Shared Hosting Setup page at:

    http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/118/sample-architecture-i/

is quite useful, but is not very detailed.  Has anyone built on this?

    TIA

Sorry there is no consolidated document, but you can use the following links:

    Mukhtar

Thanks for the info.  It would be good to have a Patterns and Practices document sometime.

Just for interest, here in the UK 30% of website hosting is done by niche ISPs (source: Ofcom) with an estimated turnover of £1.15bn.  My guess is that a good many of these would like some guidance on which way to go.  Also more and more small enterprises here are finally taking their websites seriously.

    Regards
