  FTP IIS-7 Is simple file-based authentication possible? Reply Contact I am trying to read through all documentation and so far I was unable to find an example of simple file based authentication for FTP users. I'm wondering if i could use either AspNetAuth or IisManagerAuth to work off simple file that contains user/pass combination. If you have a working example, that would be much appreciated. Reply Contact Create a custom authentication provider by following this link: http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/598/how-to-use-managed-code-to-create-a-simple-ftp-authentication-provider/ Then change the  bool IFtpAuthenticationProvider.AuthenticateUser() to open a file, parse it for the username, password combo and then return true if found.
