how to block browsers with lower level encryption

    Hi all,

I am running IIS 6 on Server 2003 and want to stop lesser encryption levels from accessing websites, its basically things like IE4, firefox 1 etc.

Is it possible to block specific browsers from accessing a website?

     Thanks for your help.

     Martin.

Are you talking about secure (https) sites?

Most overused word in IT is 'should' as in 'That should work!?!'

    Hi,

Yes, you can do this by requiring that clients be able to handle 128-bit encryption in order to connect to your site. This is how :

    Setting Encryption Strength (IIS 6.0)
