  Spunkyasp Joined on 08-20-2008, 12:02 AM Posts 8	FTP Issue Reply Contact  Hi I am having an issue with my FTP. I have tryed to uninstall and then reinstall the service already. When i install the service it does not start. When i try to start it it says that there is something with the metabase. However i have already reinstalled the FTP metabase. I am running this on Windows Server 2008 Web Edition.    Thank You.

  Spunkyasp Joined on 08-20-2008, 12:02 AM Posts 8	Re: FTP Issue Reply Contact  1) The exact error is as follows  Failed to start ftp publishing service (I get that error when i try to start it through server manager.   The specified metadata was not found  (I get that when i try to start a ftp site from the IIS manager   2) Yes I am using the built in FTP.

I only have 1 account on the system. I was also thinking of installing ftp7 the one that you download from this site put at the end of the installation it said that it ended prematurely.
