Hi I am not a server expert and struggling through the problems from couple fo days.Please help! I ran the iis diagnostics util and i have the problems there. On my iis i have the anonymous account checked and also the integrated authentication. Do you want to allow anonymous or require authentication?
A 401.1 means a bad username or password was provided.

Allow anonymous user , and have that checked . But when i supply the username and password . It does't take.

Supply where - when you're prompted in the browser? That shouldn't happen. Make sure that IUSR has NTFS Read permissions to the content. Also make sure that the correct username and password for IUSR are set in the IIS MMC.
All permissions are given and anonymous marked. And set to default username and password as usual.
