  Server Application Unavailable Reply Contact Friends, I'm new to this forum. i could not configure my web application in iis 6.0 and i'm getting the below error. Server Application Unavailable The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request. Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur. I have verified the Event Viewer too. i got the following errors from Event Viewer aspnet_wp.exe could not be launched because the username and/or password supplied in the processModel section of the config file are invalid. aspnet_wp.exe could not be started. The error code for the failure is 80004005. This error can be caused when the worker process account has insufficient rights to read the .NET Framework files. Please ensure that the .NET Framework is correctly installed and that the ACLs on the installation directory allow access to the configured account. My machine has Windows 2003, IIS 6, .NET framework 2.0 I googled a lot to find some answers. I could not even find the ASPNET user account on my machine to give rights. It's the NETWORK SERVICE account, unless you changed it.  You should be able to correct this by running aspnet_regiis.exe -i from a command prompt in the framework folder.   Re: Server Application Unavailable Reply Contact Thanks for your response jeff. i tried re-registering the framework with iis several times using aspnet_regiis -u and aspnet_regiis -i. But it didnt help me. Still i'm getting the same error. I reinstalled framework too. I got locked with this error. I was eager to see my default.aspx page. But this error stopping me. All the things are which i tried already. I tried again running aspnet_regiis -i. what i did extra is , i did restarted iis admin service. This did the trick. Thank you once again all.
