    SMTP

As Server 2008 Web does not come with SMTP, how can I have my server work as an SMTP server also?

I am losing all faith in Microsoft on this ridiculous release. Just as they were becoming a decent option for dedicated servers, they go and remove DNS and SMTP functionality. Surely that is the equivalent of pressing the self destruct button?

The smtp service is available on web edition, it's available on all server level OS's.  It's Vista that doesn't have the SMTP service.  It's under the Server Manager > Features > SMTP Server.
