  IIS6 to IIS7 Migration Help Reply Contact Hi Guys, I am having an issue that I hope you can assist me with. I am moving an MVC project from IIS6 to IIS7 and seem to be constantly getting this error: Detailed Error Information Module IIS Web Core Notification MapRequestHandler Handler StaticFile Error Code 0x80070002 Requested URL http://localhost:80/WebSite Physical Path C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebSite Logon Method Anonymous Logon User Anonymous Not 100% sure how to fix it as there aren't any tutorials anywhere? Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Also - it seems that the absoluteroutine module dosn''t trigger at all when handling an HTTPS request ? i.e. I get the same error as above ? Really appreciate anything you can provide to assist. Thanks, Andy

  Re: IIS6 to IIS7 Migration Help Reply Contact Please post the status code. Is the MVC framework version the same on the IIS 6 and 7 servers? On your IIS 7 server, I would try setting the application pool to Classic Mode.  (Which emulates IIS 6 per se).
