  cannot start w3svc service Reply Contact i get the following msg when i try to start IIS on my machine cannot start W3SVC service on the computer '.' i tried to start it manually through command prompt but it failed witht the following msg... system error 5 occured access denied when i try to run sc query w3svc .. it gives folowing output SERVICE_NAME: w3svc         TYPE               : 20  WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS         STATE              : 1  STOPPED         WIN32_EXIT_CODE    : 1068  (0x42c)         SERVICE_EXIT_CODE  : 0  (0x0)         CHECKPOINT         : 0x0         WAIT_HINT          : 0x0 anybody knows wat the prob ....whats wrong wiht my machine..
