    Log parse QFE updates

    I'm trying to use log parses to get a record of all of the QFEs we have installed on our windows servers to know if they're up to date. I'm new to log parser and have limited SQL experience. Can someone please help me? I just need the command.

    You will need some WMI and LogParser skills. I came across this about 3 months ago when one of our systems guy asked for this:

    Re: Log parse QFE updates

    Hi,

    There is a sample COM plugin for logparser to do exactly what you have asked for. It can be found in the Logparser install directory, samples, com, qfe - on my machine;

    C:\Program Files\Log Parser 2.2\Samples\COM\QFE

    Read the readme.htm in the directory for info on how to use it.

    Good luck.

    Cheers, Dave
