  IISADMPWD - OWA 2007 Password Reset Reply Contact Hi All: We have quite a number of users who only use OWA. What i have seen is, OWA doesn't allow the users to login after the password is expired. They can only login after we reset the password in AD. So i have sucessfully implemented the IISADMPWD feature that allows users to reset the password after it is expired. However I have one query: After the password is expired and if i try to login to OWA its redirecting to the password change page sutomatically. Once iam on the password reset page, i eneter old password, new password and confirm the new password and click on the OK button. This time it again prompts me to connect to my domain using the old password. It pops up the windows authentication box. Is this normal to ask the old password before resetting it? Cant it reset the password after clicking on the OK button?  Thanks in Advance.

It is recommend that the Iisadmpwd virtual directory runs in the same application pool as the Web site that uses the IISADMPWD Password Change functionality. This KB has sample configuration. Otherwise you need to make sure the authentication or authorization is configured properly for the IISADMPWD web pages.
