    FTPS on IIS6.0

Hi, I am trying to enable FTPS in IIS for an outside user to get a weekly file to one of our division servers running windows server 2003. We have the FTP installed and enabled on the server (through the iis install)and there is a default folder for him to get to with an id and password. I have the permissions open to this folder and the server has a secure certificate on it. I tried to force ssl to that folder but he still gets an error message that says our server is not configured for ftps.

Can I configure ftps with iis6 using the same geotrust or verisign certificate that i already have on the server? I'm a little over my head with this. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    thanks

IIS FTP doesn't support SFTP or FTPS infact only standard FTP. You will need another thirdparty FTP server. Filezilla is a free one

Look at FileZilla server for FTP over SSL.  The IIS 6 FTP server doesn't support SSL or SFTP.
