    ASP>NET 2.0.50727.0 EVENT ID:1309

The below error below is logged in the event viewer after I attempt to launch the /Certsrv webpage for initial Certificate installation.  example; http://servername/certsrv.....

any ideas as to what is going on?  I've got ASP.net 1 and 2 installed and this computer once hosted sharepoint services but since has been removed.

    Hi,

Certificate Services Web Enrollment Support for IIS 6 or IIS 5 is Classic ASP web application. However the error from your Event Viewer is from an ASP.NET web application. This could happen if you have ASP.NET installed to the same path, it is not a good idea to install other web application into CertSrv folder. Also please check the configuration of Windows SharePoint Services, the message seems relate to the security settings of  Windows SharePoint Services.
