    connecting outside

    Hello,

I am running server 2003 and php together. I am very new with IIS and its giving me some trouble. What I am looking to do is let outside computers connect to this one as an http server. I have the port set up in my router. howevere when i type my global ip into an outside computer it doesnt connect. When i type it in from a lan computer there is no problem? is there any solutions to this or guides?

If you could help thanks very much!

If you can get to it from inside your LAN but not outside your LAN it's a networking issue, not an IIS issue.  Firewalls and routing (usually address translation) are the biggest cause of this, as long as you're using the IP address.  Otherwise name resolution might be an issue.
