  ASP.NET deployment issue Reply Contact HI Guys,  Im getitng the Server unavailable error when I browse my website on my IIS 5.0 webserver. My system specifications are 1. VS 2005 2. Windows XP sp2 with IIS 5.0 3. ASP.NET 2.0 My event log shows 1. Unable to start aspnet_wp.exe 2. Error code 8004005.  Is this becoz of running ASP.NET 2.0 with IIS 5.0. LocalPath under Home directory point to my project folder. Any help on this is much appreicated.  Cheers, Vids

  Re: ASP.NET deployment issue Reply Contact HI Jeff,   I have rerun the aspnet_regiis -i. still the problem persists. Detiailed error logged in Eventlog is as follows aspnet_wp.exe could not be started. The error code for the failure is 80004005. This error can be caused when the worker process account has insufficient rights to read the .NET Framework files. Please ensure that the .NET Framework is correctly installed and that the ACLs on the installation directory allow access to the configured account. For more information, see Help and Support Center at  Error 2: aspnet_wp.exe could not be launched because the username and/or password supplied in the processModel section of the config file are invalid. Im the administrator of the machine and i wonder why processModel section is not having my user credentials. Cheers, Vids
