  Virtual Directories pointing to the same folder Reply Contact Hello there,   I am trying to change the alias for a virtual directory. Right now we have virtualDir1 and I want to make it into login. While I was able to create a new virtual directory on my site called "login", right after I log in, the old name is back so it looks like this: virtualDir1/list.asp. Is that happening because I have two virtual directories set up that are pointing to the same directory? Is there a way to change that without deleting the original one?  Thanks!

No - it's perfectly OK to have this. Is it possible that you have code or another link somewhere that redirects back to virtualDir1? I wonder what would happen if I just deleted  virtualDir1.

I created a new website and added that virtual dir and now when I enter the log in info it goes back to the main site where VirtualDir1 is.  It looks as if I should not be creating multiple directories for that application.
