Why isn't IIS 7.0 able to handle .ASP files by default?

I have recently upgraded my OS from XP PRO sp3 to Vista Ultimate x86. When I was working with XP I could access and work with my .ASP files by default using IIS (I think it was ver. 6,0, in contrast to 7.0 that comes with Vista). But now I get some kind of error, as follows: http://i25.tinypic.com/5vvv3q.jpg Oh and I do have .NET framework (ver. 3.0) installed and enabled. Help please?

IIS 7 provides a much more module architecture than any previous version of IIS, leveraging this, Setup has been componentized in a way so that for security reasons only a static content web server is installed leaving the option for users to install any of the components they need. This helps for security (reduces surface attack) as well as for performance. The following link talks about the setup

Anyway, you probably have to make sure that the ASP option under Application Development is installed and that the ASP ISAPI is allowed by going to the ISAPI and CGI Restrictions

Now that I have checked my IIS status on "Turn windows features on or off" I had noticed that I have quite a few unchecked stuff (including ASP apps). So I ticked all of them and it works now :) thanks mate.
