renewing SSL certificate problems on IIS6

     Hi,

I'm trying to renew my SSL certificate but I'm getting a country code error from all of the SSL suppliers so far. I've been told to set up a new website then copy over the certificate when it expires!

I'm not wanting to implement a bodge, I'm wanting to renew the certificate with the CSR I'm getting from the server and then leave it be. It must be possible?

Could you share the exact error message?

For my understanding - Is it that you are not able to renew/generate renew request at IIS side or Is it the problem with Certificate Vendors not able to process the request?

    Please provide more information.

I can generate the CSR from my server, it's the vendor that gives me the invalid country code error message when trying to renew. From speaking to more than one vendor, they lay the blame at Microsoft's door for not producing correct renewal CSRs.

What version of IIS you are running?

Can you send me CSR file?
