In a default in stall, IIS 7 is not configured for ASP Classic.  Add ASP as a component and you should work fine.

Check the handler mappings - you should have ASPClass for .asp mapping to ...\inetsrv\asp.dll.

If not can you remove and add back the asp component ?

Hi there - From your first post, it looks like you are trying to access asp from c:\ Instead, you'll need to put the asp file in the c:\inetpub\wwwroot directory (the home directory for default web site) and run it by pointing your Web browser to http://localhost/time.asp

Re: Help me run ASP on IIS7 (Vista)!

Thankyou for reply, but when i run Time.asp from  http://localhost/time.asp (time.asp is in wwwroot directory, of course),

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    Most likely causes:

    • You are not connected to the Internet.
    • The website is encountering problems.
    • There might be a typing error in the address.

Anything else wrong? (my Time.asp file can run in XP)
