  The Specified Path is Unavailable - IIS and Internet Services Manager Reply Contact I have searched the web but are unable to sort out this error message. I am running Windows Vista 32 Bit Ultimate and have successfully installed Visual Web Developer 2005, SQL 2005, Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Basic 2005 - all express editions. I have also managed to install the MS Web Application - Microsoft Survey Sample and now want to install the Admin Survey Sample. When I attempt to do this I get the error message listed below. I have patched my machine with all of the latest updates for Vista and the express editions. IIS is active and running on my system. The specified path http://ServerName/Path is unavailable. The Internet Information Server might not be running or the path exists and is redirected to another machine. Please check the status of this virtual directory in the Internet Services Manager. Can anyone offer any assistance. Thank you.

IIS6 management compatability was not installed.  After installing it the installer worked flawlessly. You are now my hero for the day.  Thank you so much for your help. -Thorin
