    Run my .net Application using LAN

    hi when i run my .net application it ll generate port like http://localhost:1778/Myapp/*.aspx so i have prob to run it using LAN with the help of IP address how can i run my application without port generation pl help me out

    Does this mean when you run it from Visual Studio?  If that's the case, then you need to run it from IIS, either from your PC or a server.  What operating system are you running?

    well i m using win server 2003 os when i run through VS it ll generate a port with localhost like this http://localhost:1778/Add_book/home.aspx and when i run it from iis it ll display You are not authorized to view this page. and now i want to run this application to another PC using ip add. before that i hv to config this port no. how its possible ??

    To access it from another machine you must run it in IIS.  Sounds like you have a permissions problem with the inetpub\wwwroot folder.  Start here for the correct permissions:
