Acessing WSE enabled webservice from classic ASP

    Hello--

I have a webservice written in VS2005 which is WSE 3.0 enabled. Is it possible to access this through classic asp application. If so how we can set the policy and wsepolicy file? I would appreciate if you can share some code snippet for this.

    Thanks
    Prasad.

    Hello Tom,

Thank you for your reply. This link states about accessing normal web service. I am trying to access a WSe enabled which will have policy file and does asp application is capable of reading it?

    Thanks
    Prasad.

I'm not familiar with WSE and policy files, but if it's accessible through HTTP then the ASP can read it using the method shown in the link.  It will be up to you to properly code the ASP to handle the output but it should work.

Why use ASP and not ASP.NET?  You are coding it in VS 2005.

If by now you haven't received a better answer than mine, I doubt one will come here ...

I second that.  I would search the forums.asp.net web services discussion board for advice.  They could help with coding more than us IIS admins who only script and occasionally code.
