Use of IIS as Testing Server with Dreamweaver 8

Hello.  I am trying to learn to develop dynamic ASP web sites using Dreamweaver.  Part of the process is setting up a testing server with IIS.  I have Vista Home Premium.

I went to the Microsoft web site and found a video that instructs how to set up IIS.  I carefully followed the instruction but the testing server didn't work.  I am now in a quandry as to what to do next.  Does anyone know of  thorough, reliable, step by step instructions on how to set-up a Dreamweaver testing server from the Vista Home Premium environment.  I would be very greatful to anyone who helps me with this dilemma.

    Thanks

Great question, Jeff, and I apprecitate that you spent some time thinking about my propblem.

A few weeks ago I took a course in dynamic web sites using Dreamweaver.  As a result I have many .asp files that worked on the IIS on the classroom computer.  After I followed the instructions to set up IIS on my own computer, I loaded some of these files into Dreamweaver and hit F12 to view them on the testing server.  When I did this, instead of seeing the proper rendering of the .asp code, I got a "cannot display" error message.  This led me to yesterday's post on this board.

Thanks for any insight you might have, Jeff.
