    IIS FTP site question

    Hi,

I have a client that is trying to send a file but the location the file is should be sent to is not receiving it. Instead the file goes into the default c:\inetpub\ftproot directory, even though there is a different folder specified as the local path. I asked the client to give me some detail as to how they are sending the file and they said that they have a scheduled job that runs. It logs onto the FTP server and then does a CD to go to the specific folder to deliver the file. The client says that when they try to CD now the session is immediately disconnected displaying message "421 Timeout (60 seconds): closing control connection."  Any idea what’s causing this and why files are not being sent to the correct directory?

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Hello,

You could try to map the user default directory to client folder.

    Regards
