    Last Time

     Started again with IIS7 & FastCGI ...

    • Have Set Environment Variable ! 
    • Have Done Mapping
    • Have copied dll's to System32
    • Have configured php.ini
    1. What permissions do i need to set on inetpub folder ?
    2. What permissions do i need to set on php folder ?

    This is the last time i'm going to try to get this working .... ggrrrr

    Usually, the default permissions on inetpub and php folders are sufficient (Users group should have read & execute permissions).

     Have just got default permissions, but now i have this error ....

    Does the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\index.php file exist?

    Yes the file exists ... This is all so annoying as i dont know what i'm doing wrong.

    The file not existing is the only possible cause for this error.

    Hi

    Finally at last, i went back and did the file in Dreamweaver instead of Notepad and it has worked.

    I was going to suggest to use procmon to see what file w3wp.exe was getting "file not found" on.

    Thanks to everyone for there advice ... After much hair pulling and screaming at the PC, i have PHP, IIS7 (FastCGI) & phpMyAdmin singing a beautiful song :)
