Script errors prompt file download instead of rendering

Just installed FastCGI. So far so good, however, if a page has a script/syntax error, the browser is prompting to download the file instead of rendering it.  Has anyone else seen or experienced this?

    Thanks!

Is this IIS 6 or 7?

    If IIS 6.0

Have you added application mapping? and it is allowed in web service extension list?

Also have you set the VD for "Scripts and Executables" - Set it to "Script only".

    HTH.
