.NET Webservice (gSOAP) authentication Problem over MS NLB Cluster

    hi community,

    i got following problem:

i'm set up a MS NLB CLuster with 2-Nodes. Both nodes are equal. .NET WEbservice (gSOAP) is installed on both machine's and they use the IIS. So i have an application, which needs the webservice.
When i will connect to the webservice, i got a screen to fill in my credentials (username + password).
But every account in my domain won't work. The application is using FQDN's.

When i'm open a website from the first node over the NLB Name, i got the same problem. When i'm open
the website over the nodename, i got also a screen to fill in my credentials, but in this case, it will work!

Did anyone know, what is my problem?
Why i can't get a connection to the webservice over the NLB Name?

    Best regards

    Hi Sascha,

My guess you should configure FQDN with the cluster IP and your web site and web service application should use the cluster FQDN. Here are some steps that might help you.

    Hope it helps.
